I had to go back to work this week after a week long hiatus thanks to Hurricane Wilma. Some people still don't have power, and FPL is estimating that it could take another 3 weeks from today to restore all of Broward county. In fact, Charbel is sleeping on the couch right now because his place doesn't have juice. Luckily he was able to save about 30 packages of pita bread that be brought from Lebanon and had stashed in his freezer before the storm.

Work is back to normal. We've had a trend lately of late-night conference calls with the folks in Adelaide (three nights in a row this week!). It's somewhat of a pain, but at least I can put the call on hold and add an entry to my blog...

So I've decided to head to Atlanta in a couple of weeks for the IAAPA Attractions Expo. It should be a lot of fun and a good learning experience. I'll probably pick up my plane ticket in the morning and save myself the 10+ hr drive each way. Plus, it would probably take $150 in gas or more to drive there so an extra $20 on top of that for a quick flight is worth it in my view.

I added quite a few more videos to the video section last week. I went back and added all my videos from the Colorado trip that I talked about a few months ago. Another cool thing that I did was add a search feature on the pictures page. I had the idea for a while but it wasn't until the hurricane that I had the free time to work on it. It was easy to do, and I've found that it makes finding certain pictures a heck of a lot easier, especially now that I've got close to 1000 pictures posted. Whatever makes my life easier is an idea that I like! Maybe someone else will find it useful too.
