We made it back from Atlanta last night after spending a couple of days at the previously mentioned IAAPA Expo. It was a lot of fun, as I expected it would be, but the weather was a bit on the chilly side. Actually, it was only a problem when we first got off the plane and headed to the hotel. It was in the low 30s and we didn't know exactly where we were headed. We ended up waiving down a cab after about 15 or 20 minutes of freezing. It turns out we could have spotted the hotel before getting the cab if the hotel wasn't under construction and actually turned on the outdoor lights. I suppose we could have all saved $4 if we had worn bigger jackets (and actually looked at a map before trying to find the hotel)!

This week's a shorty thanks to Thanksgiving itself! I'm leaving Wednesday morning for Tomball, TX to spend the holiday with the family. It has been just over 2 years since I moved and I haven't been back for Thanksgiving since, so this will be my first Thanksgiving at home in three years (right? I think that's right - I was last there three years ago). So needless to say, I'm looking forward to it. I'll be headed back next Tuesday so next week will also be a short week in the office. Gotta love the holidays!
