Enjoying the Long Weekend

Wade went fishing from the backyard this afternoon and caught a few fishes. Using a simple bait of bread, the fish didn't know what hit 'em. Shea got in on the action and hooked her first fish ever!

Our old high school buddy Steven Scott was in town for the whole experience. He is in town shopping for a boat and we got a chance to hang out last night and this morning. Shea even wore a Tomball Seniors t-shirt to bring back the high school memories :)

I cast a few lines and got a few bites, but wasn't able to hook anything. After a few tries, I tangled up the line on the rod and had to abort the mission. As Sam has said, the bread works well to get the littler fish chummed up and biting. Sam and HoiYen caught some bait fish using this method and then hooked a large-mouthed bass!

I took Friday off from work and enjoyed a three-day Easter weekend. I spent most of Friday working on IndieGiant.com tasks, such as expanding our advertising efforts, taking pictures, and posting new items. We still have dozens of new items to add to the site!

I had the time to add some more pictures from our trip to Tampa a few weeks ago. Also freshly posted are pictures from St. Patrick's Day, Sam's farewell dinner, and the 2006 Corporate Run.
