I got a little inspired this weekend - or today, since I actually had to work yesterday - and pulled some old Spinoff material from the vault and posted it online. I took the easy, popular route and posted the stuff on MySpace, but I was pretty disappointed to find out that the site limits you to 4 songs and 12 photos.

Regardless, the Spinoff MySpace site is now alive and kicking. Back to what I was saying, I have been meaning to start a music section of this website for a long time. In fact, the old site had a section specifically for that, as did the site before that. Earlier this week, I got a chuckle when I saw that someone had updated the GoText Wikipedia page with a tiny mention of Spinoff, a two-man band founded by myself and my cousin Rick. Being the ego-maniac that I am, I embarked immediately on a mission to re-introduce Spinoff to the world :) Or at least to a few random folks who happen to stumble inside. I even posted the old Spinoff website just for gits and shiggles.

To change topics, there's still none of the aforementioned toobing pics, but I did post a small batch of pictures from a couple weeks ago when I was in Texas. It was my grandmother's 80th birthday and my aunt threw her a huge surprise birthday party. There were quite a few family members there that I hadn't seen in at least a couple years, which made it the perfect time to take a Texas trip, even if the humidity was higher than the temperature...
